Frog in HonoluluPhotographer : Philippe Gross Camera used : GR DIGITAL II
I was sitting with friends when I spotted this frog jumping around. I walked toward it and took several shots. Thanks to the GRD2 macro function, I was able to get very close to the subject and shoot from the ground up, as if I were a smaller frog looking up at the mighty frog.
It seems that the frog has just hopped in from the side of the image. Its cocky expression is inexpressibly charming. After this, it probably hopped again, passing in front of the lens and out of the frame. It is a delightful image in which we can imagine the fun the photographer had in shooting it.(Judge:Kazuyuki Okajima)
