First overseas trip. One shot from Hawaii's Lanikai beach. Overwhelmed by the beauty of the ocean, she became once again a child at play, so I captured that joy in this photograph.
The photographer did a good job observing a dynamic silhouette that only existed for an instant. While some aspects appear exaggerated, in some ways it also seems like a very natural scene is portrayed. In this image we can feel the enjoyment of place and time being experienced by both photographer and subject.(Judge:Ryo Ohwada)
