I took this picture soon after the second of our two cats came to live at our house. I find it amusing the way the cat somehow looks like a figurine.
The way the cat erases its presents by becoming one with the objects lined up on the windowsill seem like it could be an animal instinct similar to the way a cat holds its breath when stalking prey. I would think that its expression is quite tense. The way that it gazes so intently towards the photographer is very cute.(Judge:Kazuyuki Okajima)
