Raindrops Keep Falling On My HeadPhotographer : Masashi Kageyama Camera used : GR DIGITAL III
Using my just-purchased GRDIII on a mini-tripod, I tried photographing a puddle on the asphalt with a high shutter speed and 20-second continuous shooting. While I was concentrating on the ripple forms, a girl came by on her way home from school. The two of us as well as the GR all got wet. Taking snaps on a rainy day can be fun. iso100, 1/400 +2 stop sensitivity increase
It is not just clear days that are good for photography. Rainy days and the period just after the rain stops can also be photogenic. Wet road surfaces concentrate the light, giving a richly expressive image with a three-dimensional quality. Looking at the photo, we seem to hear a comfortable rhythm of rain and footstep sounds. The children's song about rain "Ame furi" plays in my head.(Judge:Kazuyuki Okajima)
