I try to capture in photographs beauty that is part of our world but that tends to be overlooked in everyday life. GX200 macro was used to shoot these leaves parched by this summer's bright sun.
My eyes were drawn to the pale colors of the fallen leaves. The gentle coloration of the faint pastels produces a beautiful impression. Although the leaves have dried out, I feel just a touch of moisture and warmth here. Returning to the soil, they will grow again as rich green new leaves.(Judge:Kazuyuki Okajima)
