The new junior high school year started on April 1, 2008. It was a balmy day fit for new beginnings, with the cherry blossoms in full bloom beneath white clouds and blue sky. The handball team students take a practice break under the blossoms. The time passed blissfully under the protection of the "symbol tree." |

The school building may be new, but for many decades the old cherry tree has watched over many students, seeing them graduate and sending them off into the world. Again this year, at the height of spring it burst into magnificent full bloom under the blue sky.
