This shot was taken in a small room at the back of an old church from the 1800's. The pitcher and basin would be of precious significance to the churchgoers. Settings - ISO 64, Flash Off, Camera placed on ledge and 2 second timer used. |

This is a space of calm colors and a pervading sense of stillness. The soft light from the window gently enhances the whiteness of the pitcher, towel, and soap on the table, thereby turning an casual everyday scene into a memorable image. The photograph was taken in the small room of an old church, a place sacred to the members of the congregation, and through the image we can sense the purity and grace.
