My wife is enjoying a holiday afternoon nap with our twins, born in March of this year. To speak of my love for my wife and children may be somewhat commonplace and cliché, but this was the moment when I realized such love is the most fortunate and important thing to have.
*The Japanese word "chanko" that I used in the title, means "baby" in the Oita regional dialect. |

The illumination entering through the yellow curtains shines backlight on the mother and twins napping on the mat. The warm color would seem to symbolize the happiness of the family. Also, it may just be a chance felicity, but the colors of the clothes worn by each combine to create a wonderful overall color harmony. The skin tones of the mother and babies also create a vaguely sensuous charm. A magnificent family photograph. (Judge:Yokogi ALAO) |
