Just looking up, there was the blue sky seen through the crown of trees. That alone offered colors that were quite fine. Just a bit off the ground there was a mushroom growing. Bending down to look, I found a Eutriplax tuberculifrons having a meal. This is a scene that could not been seen while standing. For me, this perspective gives the better view. |

The Eutriplax tuberculifrons is an insect only about 5 mm in size, but I think it is quite a good-looking bug. This is a photo subject discovered by taking an insect-eye view. The atmosphere of the forest natural habitat is well captured in the image. I wished that I could have photographed this scene. This photograph was selected to Judges' Award.(Judge:Kazuo UNNO) |
