One evening I went along to an empty baseball field. For me this was a very precious moment which reminded me of the big dreams we had in "those days." |

When I saw this photograph, for some reason what came to mind was Kevin Costner's movie "Field of Dreams." I am sure that this photographer has important memories of his time with his teammates long ago. The sepia tone is effective here in heightening the "time-slip" element of traveling back to "those days." The ball placed there alone on the empty field also plays a wonderful role. I am sure that for not a few of the people who see it, this photograph will evoke a nostalgic image and thoughts similar to those of the photographer. (Judge:Yasutaka TANJI) |
