Perhaps spurred by enjoyment of her sunny spot, she energetically grooms herself.

A key point for this photograph is the mist on the window pane. In this superb image, the size of the water droplets was just right to create a soft-focus effect and bring out the best quality of light. The shadows serve to gently bring out the contours of the white cat and create a warm atmosphere. The positioning is also excellent, and the figure of the grooming cat evokes the warm and comfortable morning that the photographer described. |
