A family birthday. The flames of the many-colored candles somehow create a warm and friendly feeling. That being said, I could also say that this is a good work that causes the viewer to feel something. Rather than straining to photograph that something, another method could be used: just find the something. Here there are wavering flames on a heart-shaped cake, and it seems to me those flames portray the feeling of happiness of the family. It may be that changing the white balance slightly would also change colors and the way the image is perceived. |
