A morning of autumn rain.
I took my usual walk, camera in hand.
The rain laden cosmos flowers had grown heavy, and a stem bent down unable to bear the weight.
There I found some cosmos-colored drops.
Walking in the rain: banzai! |

While I may have some minor dissatisfaction with the composition, it is easily banished by the water drops hanging from the stem drooping in front of the cosmos flower. These are not your ordinary water drops, they have been transformed into especially pretty water drops, fresh and new "water cosmos," via a transformation achieved primarily thanks to the photographer's insight. This is the kind of work usually born of the powers of observation and chance encounters of a photographer who always carries a camera. |
