There is strength to be found in images that make good use of light, and I think this photographer knows light very well. The spider web on the railing ornament gives a sense of the time scale, and the wrapping around of the reflected light also expresses the texture very well. By positioning the railing ornament to the right, an open space is created that indirectly emphasizes the presence of the old temple. This presence creates a calm harmony even in the tones of bright gold. A superb image. |
