Mike Muizebelt

Mike was born in The Netherlands in 1969. After an education in Hotel Management and a career in hospitality, he made the switch to photography in 2015. A lifetime passion became his main focus and Mike is now working as a full-time professional nature and wildlife photographer.
He is a specialist in both landscape and wildlife photography on the African continent and he likes to work on special projects, for example his “Sea of Sand” series from Namibia. Wildlife- and landscape safaris into the unspoiled African wilderness are an essential part of his work. He hosts photo tours into Botswana and other regions of the African continent. In addition he also regularly hosts private- and group workshops in his home country, The Netherlands.

For Mike Muizebelt, photography means sharing ideas, vision and natural beauty with others: "I have an idea in my head and with photography - especially as a digital medium - I am able to pass it on to my audience”. His work has been awarded and commended in some of the world’s premier international photo competitions.
