find their way into my photographs.
Whether I take them consciously or unconsciously
without looking through the viewfinder,
they capture things that even I don't understand.

Taking snapshots on the street is almost the same as taking pictures of myself.

						Recently, I've been thinking,
“I'm so glad I have a camera.”
“I'm so glad photography exists.”
There is no logic or concept behind it.
I don't know what form photography
will take in the future,
or whether the word “photography”
will even remain,
but whatever form or word it takes,
I hope that photography will remain.
