Color that is collected onPhotographer : Hajime Inomata Camera used : GR DIGITAL III
After cleaning the garden, I photographed the collected flowers. Each individual fallen flower was only rubbish, but taking another look at them gathered together on the dustpan, it struck me as a kind of flower arrangement.
The flowers are already considered rubbish, but although they may be withered, they have still not lost their splendor. They show us their own distinctive colors. While they may have passed the peak of beauty, when I look at them captured in such an image, I thing it is too soon to throw them away.(Judge:Kazuyuki Okajima)
I enjoy the lovely hues set among the photo's low-key tones. I find a sensuous quality in the colors of the withering flowers and the still deep shades of green. The straight-on perspective is also good. The photographer has created a work with depth.(Judge:Ryo Ohwada)
