This is a photo at a theme park attraction where people wear 3D glasses. In the midst of the lively crowd, I discovered an older woman taking a souvenir photograph. Reacting to the mismatch of the retro-futuristic design of the glasses and the typical older woman's perm, I snapped the picture without thinking. By chance, the resulting photo captured an instant of light reflecting in the woman's glasses. This further widened the gap in the mismatched combination, and I think it gave the image the power to make people laugh. |
