At the school's fall sports festival, the last event on the program was a marching band procession by all the sixth graders. With this major task now accomplished, they gathered before the school for commemorative photographs. In their laughing, satisfied faces, I detected a just touch of sadness that their final elementary school sports festival was now over. |
