At my mother's 70th birthday celebration, I photographed this fort built by my nephew. To the right of the photograph the banquet is laid out. Viewing the satisfied expression on my nephew's face, I saw myself in his place and remembered how often I used to play in just the same way. |

It is a good-looking secret fort built in a rather conspicuous location. Perhaps his natural instincts prompted him to build it here to avoid the loneliness of not having anyone notice. For a parent, this is the kind of photo that immediately goes up on the blog. (Judge:MASASHI ASADA)
