I came upon this venidium blossom while I was taking a walk. The petals seemed to be peeking out from the buds among the feathers. It was such a delicate, beautiful step in the growth process that I just had to take a picture.
Jewelweed. This picture was taken in macro using the GR's single 28 mm wide-angle lens, with pan-focus on the series of flowers. The result is so sharp that you can even see water droplets.
