[Question] Details on the My Settings modes.

The My Settings function makes it easy to shoot using your favorite combination of settings. You can register 3 groups of settings as “My Settings”. Turing the mode dial to [MY1], [MY2], or [MY3] allows to shoot with the settings registered in advance.

Mode dial : [MY1], [MY2], or [MY3]

When you are shooting in a My Settings mode, you can change the settings of menu items in the shooting and the setup menu. If you switch mode or turn the camera off, the settings in My settings are returned to the original [MY1], [MY2] or [MY3] settings.

In order to register the items in [MY1], [MY2] or [MY3], go to [Reg. My Settings] in the Key Custom Settings tab in the Setup menu.

When the My Settings registration screen appears, select a My setting where you want to register the settings and press the [MENU/OK] button.The settings will be assigned to the selected mode dial ([MY1], [MY2] or [MY3]). The registration date and time are also displayed.

And, 6 groups of settings can be registered in [My Settings Box]. Each group can be assigned to [MY1], [MY2] or [MY3] on the mode dial.


* [Switching shooting modes in a My Setting] [Switch Shooting Mode] in the Shooting menu allows you to change the shooting mode without turning the mode dial. [Switch Shooting Mode] is not displayed if a scene mode has been assigned for [Reg. My Settings].
