[Question] Is a Self-Timer option available ?

Yes, there are Self-Timer options. It can be set from 10 seconds or 2 seconds.

The settings for shooting with the Self-Timer options are shown below.

1 Press the Self-Timer button in a shooting mode.

  When you press the Self-Timer button, the setting switches between [10 Sec], [2 Sec] and [Off], and the Self-Timer symbol is displayed in the top left-hand corner of the screen.

    • The selected Self-Timer option will be displayed in the screen. The number to the right of the symbol indicates the number of seconds that will elapse after the shutter release button has been pressed until the photograph is shot.

2 Press the shutter release button down fully.
The focus is locked, and the AF auxiliary light will light when the Self-Timer starts.

  • The camera remains the Self-Timer mode even after the images are shot, until power off. In order to exit the Self-Timer mode, press the Self-Timer button and change the setting to [Self-Timer Off].
  • The AF auxiliary light does not light up if the [2 Sec] has been selected.
  • The Self-Timer button is also used as the Fn2 button. The Self-Timer option can only be used if no other function has been assigned to the button in Fn1 or Fn2 button settings.
