[Question] How to attach the camera unit to the GXR body.


Be sure the power is off before attaching or removing the camera unit to / from the camera body.

Remove the terminal caps (the red marked in the figure below) from the GXR body and the camera unit.

Remove a teminal cap

Align the left side of the camera unit with the alignment mark (red marked in the figure below) on the camera body, and then slide the camera unit to the left unit until it clicks.

Attaching the camera unit to the body

In order to remove the camera unit, slide the camera unit release lever (red marked in the figure below) to the right, and remove the camera unit.

Be careful not to drop the camera unit or the GXR body when attaching or removing them.
