- *b1) Ricoh's independently developed Hybrid system. Which combines the conventional CCD contrast AF, and external AF sensor with passive method that measures a distance from the subject.
- *b2) Interval Composite : It synthesizes the bright parts of image s which are taken with the set interval time. This mode will be useful for capturing the trail of stars or the moon, etc.
- *b3) High Contrast B&W : This mode takes a picture with higher contrast B&W than those in normal B&W mode. It will produces grainy images similar to those taken with higher sensitive film or high grain film developing. [Contrast], [Sharpness], [Vignetting] settings can be adjusted manually.
- *b4) Cross Process : This mode takes a picture with colors that differ markedly from those of the actual subject. [Hue], [Contrast], [Vignetting] settings can be adjusted manually.
- *b5) Positive Film : This mode takes a picture in high vividness creating images like positive film. [Vividness], [Contrast], [Sharpness], and [Vignetting] settings can be adjusted manually.
- *b6) Bleach Bypass : This mode takes a picture by reducing vividness and increasing contrast. [Hue], [Contrast], [Sharpness], and [Vignetting] settings can be adjusted manually.
- *b7) Dynamic Range compensation : This mode captures a wide range of tones from dark to bright.
- *b8) Image Setting bracket : This mode takes three photos in three different picture qualities.
- *b9) DR compensation bracket : This mode takes three photos in three different dynamic range compensation settings : Off, Weak, and Strong.
- *b10) Contrast bracket : This mode takes shots in different contrasts.
- *b11) Multiple exposure shooting : This mode takes a picture by synthesizing up to 5 images at the maximum.

[T] (Time) : Press the shutter release button starts exposure, and press the shutter release button again stops exposure.
The bulb / time shooting ends automatically when it reaches the 180 seconds limitation. The optional shutter release cable (Cable Switch : CA-2) can be used for bulb/time shooting. - *b13) ISO Step Setting : Step value for ISO sensitivity can be selected from 1EV and 1/3EV when you choose ISO sensitivity value manually.
1EV : ISO 80 / ISO100 / ISO200 /ISO400 / ISO800 / ISO1600 /ISO3200

Set the distance from Auto / 1m / 1.5m / 2.5m / 5m / ∞ (infinity) with [Snap Focus Distance].
- *b15) Pre AF : The camera will do preliminaries on focus, corresponding with changes on the subject, even if you will not yet press the shutter release half way. The range that the camera scans can be narrower than normal auto focusing.
