[Question] How to set a password for protection (camera lock).

Password is used to set the [Password Protection] function, or to change or release the limit for camera operations.
[Barcode] or [Keyboard] options are available for the password setting.

Pass word setting is located; Setup menu > Choose/Change Password. Choose [Barcode] or [Keyboard] in the screen below.

Barcode

Barcode is used for password.
In the [Choose/Change Password] option, the camera read a barcode in the Read Barcode screen to set the password. The Read Barcode screen will be displayed when the password is required.

[Memo] The camera can read linear barcode, and some of the second dimensional barcodes

Keyboard

Letters are used for password.
In the [Choose/Change Password] option, enter a phrase using the on-screen keyboard to set the password. The on-screen keyboard will be displayed when the password is required.

[Memo] Use

buttons for entering a password. The number of letters that can be used for the password is from 1 letter up to 16 letters.
