[Question] About water, dust, shock resistance and chemical resistance.
The camera has been designed for water resistance, dust resistance, shock resistance, and chemical resistance as follows.Water resistance / Dust resistance
Water resistance : The G700 conforms to the specifications for JIS/IEC waterproof grade 8. It can be used at a depth of 5 meters, and for 2 hours for underwater photography.Dust resistance : The G700 conforms to the specifications for JIS/IEC dust proof grade 6. It guards against infiltration by dust and sand.
In addition, the camera is designed for cold resistance, down to -10°C, you can take a picture in cold environments.

Shock resistance
The G700 has been passed a 2 meters drop test, which is conformed to US Department of Defense 'MIL Standard 810F'.Chemical resistance
Exterior of the G700 can be disinfected with ethanol, or sodium hypochlorite.

Note on condensation
In an environment where the temperature changes suddenly, condensation may occur in the product, resulting in troubles such as fogging of the glass surface or malfunctions of the camera. For care, take it out of the bag after the temperature difference from the atmosphere has decreased to a fairly small amount. If condensation occurs, remove the battery and memory card, and wait until the moisture has dried before using the camera.
