[Question] About the Flag function setting.
You can assign image files to [Flag Function Setting]. Assigned images can be recalled at a later time from [Flag Function Display] in the Playback menu.
Up to 20 images can be assigned to [Flag Function Settings].
The procedures for assigning files to [Flag Function Setting] and canceling their settings are shown below.
| 1 | Press the playback button to go to the playback mode. |

| 2 | Press [Fn1] [Fn2] [+] [-] buttons (Directional pad) to display the file you want to assign or cancel, and press the [MENU/OK] button. |

| 3 | The playback menu appears. Choose the [Flag Function Setting] with [+] [-] buttons, and press the [Fn2] button. |

| 4 | Choose [Cancel] or [Set] with [+] [-] button, and press the [MENU/OK] button. |
![]() When a file has been assigned, the symbol appears on the screen. The symbol disappears when the Flag Function Setting has been set to [Deselect]. |
| 5 | To assign / deselect multiple files at the same time, press the wide-angle button (lower side on the zoom button) in the step 2 above to go to the thumbnail View, and press the [MENU/OK] button. |

| 6 | Proceed to the step 3 above. The thumbnail view will be displayed. |
![]() Choose a file in the thumbnail view with [Fn1] [Fn2] [+] [-] buttons (Directional pad), to display the file you want to set or cancel for the flag assignment, and press the [MENU/OK] button. If you choose a wrong file, press the [MENU/OK] button again to deselect the file. The flag symbol will be displayed. Up to 20 files can be assigned. |
[Caution]
-
- •If the name of the file assigned to [Flag Function Setting] is changed using a computer, the file is canceled from [Flag Function Setting].
- •When the contents of the internal memory are copied to an SD memory card, the files assigned to [Flag Function Setting] in the internal memory are canceled.
- •When a file in an SD memory card is assigned to [Flag Function Setting], the [CLIPINFO] folder and CLIP.CLI file are created on the SD memory card. If these are deleted, the corresponding file is canceled from [Flag Function Setting].
- •If the name of an image file is changed using a computer, the file may not be able to be assigned to [Flag Function Setting].
- •Only images taken using this camera can be assigned to [Flag Function Setting].
