[Question] About the S mode (S: Shutter Priority mode).
Turning the mode dial to [S] (Shutter Speed Priority mode) allows to adjust a shutter speed manually. When you set the shutter speed, the camera automatically selects the appropriate aperture value for that speed.![]() |

Making the shutter speed faster will capture a moment like having the fast-moving subject stop. Or making the shutter speed slower will capture a trail of moving subject, which will be able to create the scene in fluid motion. |
Operating procedure
The procedures for shooting with shutter speed priority are shown below.1. |
Turn the mode dial to [S]. The shutter speed symbol appears on the picture display and the current shutter speed is displayed in orange.

Turn the Up-down dial to change the shutter speed.

3. | Press the shutter release button halfway. The aperture is selected and displayed on the screen. | ||||||||||||

Gently press the shutter release button the rest of the way down to shoot.
