[Question] How do I assign a function to the Fn (Function) button?
The procedures for assigning a function to the Fn (Function) button are shown below.
The items that can be set for each shooting mode are shown below.
The Fn button cannot be used for the selected function when [Miniaturize] is selected in the SCENE mode.

- 1Press the [MENU] button. The shooting menu or the playback menu appears.
- 2Press the [ADJ./OK] button
, and then press it down
. The setup menu appears.
- If the camera is in scene mode or continuous mode - press the [ADJ./OK] button
to select the [MODE] tab.
- After that, press the [ADJ./OK] button down
twice to display the setup menu.
- 3Press the [ADJ./OK] button

to select [Set Fn Button], and then press

- 4 Press the [ADJ./OK] button
to select the setting, and then press the [ADJ./OK] button.

- *The functions not marked with a circle (O) can also be assigned to the Fn button, but they will not operate if the button is pressed in the SCENE mode or the Movie mode.
