[Question] What size are [F3:2] and [F1:1] images?

[F3:2] means 3:2 aspect ratio. [F1:1] means 1:1 aspect ratio.
Shooting at these sizes gives you the same sized shooting frame as 35 mm film cameras.
[F3:2] is '3456 x 2304' in the Image size, and Fine (F) in the Picture Quality.
[F1:1] is '2592 x 2592' in the Image size, and Fine (F) in the Picture Quality.

When the image size is set to [F3:2], a black border is added to the top and bottom of the image in the picture display in accordance with the shooting range.

Example: [F1:1] image

When the image size is set to [F1:1], a black border is added to the left and right of the image in the picture display in accordance with the shooting range.

Any image size other than [F3:2] or [F1:1] will have 4:3 in aspect ratio, which will be suitable for use on a general personal computer monitor or a TV monitor (apart from High Definition television / HDTV.)

If you set the image size to [F3:2] or [F1:1], you can shoot with an image size of the same aspect ratio as the shooting frame of 35 mm film cameras.
