CX6 : Details on the focusing modes.

There are 8 focusing modes.

Symbol	Mode	Description
None	Multi AF	Measures the distances from 9 AF areas and focuses on the nearest AF area. Choose to prevent out-of-focus pictures.
	Face-Pri.Multi	The camera automatically detects and focuses on faces. If no face is detected, the camera performs as same as [Multi AF].
	Subj. Tracking	The camera will track the subject while the shutter release button is halfway. You can take a picture in focus by pressing the shutter release button all the way.
None	Spot AF	Selects one AF area at the center of the picture display to allow the camera to focus on this area automatically.
	Multi-trgt AF	Takes 5 consecutive pictures while shifting the focus to multiple positions.
	MF (Manual Focus)	Enables you to adjust the focus manually.
	Snap	Fixes the shooting distance to a short distance (approx.2.5m).
	∞(Infinity)	Fixed the shooting distance to infinity. Infinity is useful for shooting distant scenes.

• •If either [MF (Manual Focus)], [Snap], or [∞ (Infinity)] is selected, the [Pre-AF] feature becomes disabled.
• •If [Multi-trgt AF] or [Subj.Tracking] is selected for focus, Auto bracketing feature is not available.
• •In S-Auto mode (Scene Auto mode), focus options are not selectable.

• Available [Shooting menu] chart in each shooting mode.
• Available [Setup menu / Key Custom menu] chart in each shooting mode.

In the Shooting menu, press the ADJ./OK button and choose [Focus], and then press the ADJ./OK button to the right .

Press ADJ./OK button to choose a focus option, and press ADJ./OK button.
