GXR : Updated functions - By Modes
The feature enhancement firmware updates include the new features or options in the camera menu. Which will improve usebility or performance to the latest functions. The latest firmware update will include all previous updates.
The following charts list the updated functions [by modes].

The magnification ratio can be selected from [2x], [4x], or [8x]. This feature works when you make enlarged the center of the screen by pressing and holding the MENU/OK button while monitoring. With target shift, or manual focus, the enlarged display position can be moved with directional pad ([+], [-], [Fn1], [Fn2]). |

[New White Balance Options : Incandescent 1 and 2]
Originally there was one option for incandescent light in White Balance, but [Incandescent 1] and [Incandescent 2] become available. [Incandescent 2] will result with slightly warmer than [Incandescent 1]. The original [Incandescent] is replaced by [Incandescent 2]. |

[New feature : Shutter speed Auto Shift]
When the [Shutter Speed Auto Shift] is set to [On] in the S mode, the camera will automatically adjust shutter speed for optimal exposure in the case that the selected shutter speed by the user will result for over exposure or under exposure. |

This option limits the distance that can be focused in AF, and it will make auto focus quickly. |
