[Playing Back Still Images]
When you switch from a shooting mode to the playback mode, the camera shows the last picture when you played back at the last time.
One Push Zoom with the ADJ. lever
When you playback a still image, you can enlarge the still image with one-push by pressing the ADJ. lever.
[1 Push Zoom Ratio] of the ADJ. lever
You can set the zoom ratio for the on-push zoom with the ADJ. lever.
[Play Mode Dial] to switch the functions of the ADJ. lever and the Up-down dial
You can choose a setting option of the ADJ. lever and the Up-down dial at the playback mode.
[M Mode Dial] to switch the functions of the ADJ. lever and the Up-down dial
You can change the functions between the ADJ. lever and the Up-down dial at the M mode.

Modified the following phenomenon.
- When using long time exposure, the orientation information (horizontal or vertical) of the image may not be recorded correctly.

[My Set. WB Comp.]
You have an option to choose if the value having configured in the [White Bal. Comp.] is saved with the [Reg. My Settings].
Setting the Flash Amount in Manual Flash Mode (Man. Flash Amount)
The [Man. Flash Amount] setting becomes available in the menu. With the internal flash, you have an option to choose the [Manual Flash] in the flash mode.
Setting the Flash Timing (Synchro Settings)
You have an option to choose a flash timing from the 1st curtain or the 2nd curtain.
TODAYS SHOTS
Number of files recorded on that day is displayed when you turn off a camera.

Modified the phenomenon that will be occurred with the combination of the following, it will not properly appear the image in the position display window that is shown when you playback with enlarged.
- [AutoRotate] ON
- There are both horizontal and vertical images in a camera
- Playback enlarged images with the ADJ. lever

[AF Target Shift Function]
The AF target shift function can now be used in modes other than the macro mode.
The AF target shift function can now be operated using not only the ADJ. lever, but also the Fn (Function) button.
[Settings That Can Be Saved in My Settings Mode]
The following items can now be retained in [Reg. My Settings] on the setup menu.
- Shutter speed and aperture value for the M mode (manual exposure mode)
[Quick Set Function for Manual Exposure Mode]
With the [M Mode Quick Set] function setting on the setup menu, you have options, Aperture, Shutter, or Program to make it available the Quick Set in the M mode.

Modified the following phenomena.
When you set the [Korean] in the Language setting, and assign the [Img Set] in the ADJ. lever, if you press the ADJ. lever to show the image setting menu, some unnecessary mark may appear.
If you take a picture after you have set the [AdobeRGB] in the color space set, and have changed the [Img Set] from default, the icon that you set in the [Img Set] may not appear in a captured image in the playback mode.
2008.08.07 2.11 Modified the following phenomena.
If you set the [Auto Aper. Shift] ON in the A mode, and you take a picture of a subject in high-intensity light, any key will not work.
If a camera is configured in the following settings, and you go to the [CT] (Detail) setting in the white balance menu but you leave the selection screen without setting a value, and then if you take a picture and switch the MF with the Fn button, any key will not work.

- Assigned [AF/MF] to the Fn button
- [ADJ shutter] ON

[Correcting the White Balance in Shooting Mode]
You can set the white balance correction manually in the shooting mode.
[Correcting the White Balance in Playback Mode]
You can compensate the white balance in a captured image manually.
[WB Correct] for [ADJ Lever Set. 1/2/3/4] and [Function Button]
You can register the [WB Correct] in an ADJ lever setting and the Fn button.
[Detailed Information Display in Playback Mode]
You can see the WB comp. value and the image setting value in the display.
[Auto Aper. Shift] in Aperture Priority Mode
You can have the Auto Aperture shift feature in the A mode.
[Reduction Image Noise]
You can choose a noise reduction option depending on the ISO sensitivity.
[ISO Sensitivity Display]
The ISO sensitivity is displayed at your half-pressing the shutter release button, when you set [AUTO] or [AUTO-Hi] in the ISO sensitivity.

Modified the following phenomenon.
With the [AutoRotate] is enabled (ON), if a playback image is rotated and make it enlarged, a histogram in the display may not appear properly.

Modified the following phenomenon. After taking a picture with a long exposure time (1 second or slower) in the M mode (manual exposure mode), and then even if you take a picture in the Auto shooting mode, the image processing for the long exposure time will be performed.

Switching shooting modes in My Settings mode
At My Settings mode, you can switch shooting modes with the menu setting without turning the mode dial.
Magnified Playback using Up-down Dial/ADJ. Lever
You can use also the up-down dial to enlarge an image during the playback mode, not only with the enlarged view button.
[Level Sound] in [Operation Sounds]
You can choose [Level Sound] in [Operation Sound].
[On]/[Off] for the [Power Button Lamp]
When the power is turned on, you can now make a setting to light the power button lamp or not.

Modified/added the following items.
Supports the flash from Sigma, [EF-500 DG ST/SUPER].
Improved the white balance when you take a picture with the [Flash Synchro] in flash modes.
Modified the phenomenon that the information will not be displayed when the following combinations; setting the display off and the [Info Disp] on, and then switching the macro mode.
Modified the phenomenon that if being selected the [CL-BKT] in the [Auto Bracket], and if taking a picture with a long exposure time (15 seconds or longer) in the M mode, the color bracket processing will not completed and any keys will not work.

Improved an image quality in a small size (VGA etc.)
Modified the following phenomena.
- If you operate the ADJ lever in the macro mode, display switching speed may change.
- If you operate the ADJ lever while compensating exposure, any keys will not work.
When you exit a macro mode, the lens unit operating will become initialized in order to improve a focus accuracy.
