Thanks to the adoption of the original HD coating, it delivers high-contrast, clear imaging performance even in a backlight scene. Also, due to its new design using extra-low dispersion (ED) or extraordinary low glass, it can effectively correct chromatic aberration. It is a reliable AW (All Weather) type lens with a dust-resistant / drip-proof construction, so you can concentrate on photo taking in demanding situations, such as when using it for taking photos of wild birds or other outdoor pictures.
