The minimum shooting distance is 2m over the entire zoom range, and the maximum shooting magnification is 0.18X (at 300mm), which is performance rivaling single focal point lenses. An inner focus and inner zoom are used for minimizing changes in the total length or weight balance when focusing and zooming for providing superior ease of operation. AF/MF switching is performed quickly by simply sliding the entire focus ring forward or backward.
