The PENTAX K-1 Mark II really is easy to use. It inherits this usability from the original K-1, and I am reminded again of how much I appreciate it. When shooting genres like landscapes and nature, it’s very common to change exposure setting combinations instantly to shoot. For moving subjects you have to be quick about changing the shutter speed and aperture value as well as ISO sensitivity. The PENTAX K-1 Mark II and original K-1 are the only cameras in the world that let you change the ISO sensitivity instantly with just a turn of a dial.
The Pixel Shift Resolution System (technology to produce super-high-resolution images) allows hand-held shooting, with high-performance five-axis, five-shutter-step shake reduction mechanism, and improved AF performance that together deliver amazing functionality. The ultra-sensitive ISO 819200 is especially worthy of note. The zero-noise domain for high sensitivity has been dramatically increased, and I was astonished to be able to use sensitivity settings of above ISO 2000 without any hesitation when shooting for my pictures of the masu salmon swimming up the waterfall.
