PENTAX PHOTO Browser and PENTAX PHOTO Laboratory Updater (for Windows)


Thank you for using PENTAX *istD /*istDS digital SLR camera.
PENTAX wishes to announce the release of the Updater for update the PENTAX PHOTO Browser and PENTAX PHOTO Laboratory for version 2.10.
This Updater will support the *istD user to be able to use the current software (2.0) that attached with *istDS camera, and even improved some function of current software.
For correct update, you are required to be installed previous version of PENTAX PHOTO Browser, PENTAX PHOTO Laboratory (1.0, 1.10, 1.11 or 2.0) before hand on your PC.
Please download the Updater file on your PC first, and update it.

Changed and added points of update version 2.10 from previous version 2.0 for *ist DS user.
[PENTAX PHOTO Browser 2.1] * The thumb-nail frame is optimized when the thumb-nail caption is not displayed.
* Added the dialog box to be able to confirm the progress of printing procedure.
* The correct caption is printed for after page 2 when multiple index pages are printed.
[PENTAX PHOTO Laboratory 2.1] * Improved image quality at the processing RAW image procedure.
* Designed the mouse-cursor for syringe at the Grey point setting of the White balance.
* Improved the transaction efficiency when multiple RAW files are processing.
 
Download
Please download and save the [PBLUD021.exe ] into appropriate folder on your Hard disk

Update
You are required to be installed original version of PENTAX PHOTO Browser, PENTAX PHOTO Laboratory before hand on your PC.
(1) Please shut down all application software.
(2) Double click the downloaded [PBLUD021.exe ].
(3) The Installer will start, and selection of the language window will be displayed.
(4) Select the same language as originally installed, and click [OK].
(5) [Welcome to the PENTAX Digital Camera Utility installer] will be displayed, click [NEXT].

(6) The conformation window for the old version will be displayed, click [NEXT].
If you already installed previous version on your PC, it will jump to (8)-B.

(7) When the window of the succeeded confirmation is displayed, click [NEXT]

(8) When you confirmed the name of the folder to be installed, click [NEXT]

(9) If you are ready to copy it, click [NEXT].
The copy of the file will be started.

(10) When the installation will be completed and the massage is displayed, click [Finish].
