The Caplio 300G employs a CCD with an exceptional resolution of 3.34 megapixels (3.24 effective megapixels) to deliver images of superb quality - even when trimmed.

3 x Optical Zoom

A new 3x optical lens delivers a central resolution of 300 lines per millimeter. Which means you get distortion-free zoom shots - even at long distances.

Multi-photo Shooting

Enjoy high-speed continuous shooting with just 0.3-second lag time for close motion analysis. In M-continuous mode, just hold the shutter down and the camera memorizes the last 16 shots in one file for two seconds of footage. The S-continuous mode captures a stream of 16 shots in one file for two seconds of footage with a single touch of the shutter button.

Video Clips with Digital Zoom

The Caplio 300G also captures 120 seconds (max.) of moving image clips in high-definition AVI format to accurately record the feeling of fast-moving scenes.This camera cannot record sound when taking moving pictures.

Six Scene Modes

Choose from six preset scene modes: Portrait, Sports, Landscape, Nightscape, Text and High-Sensitivity. This assures the best results for specific situations.

One-Touch Quick Review

Just press the button and the Quick Review mode lets you instantly review the last shot without having to switch to the replay mode.

Power-Saving Synchro Monitor Mode

When the shutter button is pressed, the monitor automatically turns on for shot previews and saves power by turning off after a few seconds.

Versatile Memory

The Caplio 300G accepts optional Secure Digital Memory cards or MultiMediaCards. The camera also has 8MB of onboard memory to provide a backup to card use.
