HOYA CORPORATION PENTAX Imaging Systems Division is pleased to announce the addition of a new Shiny Orange version to the PENTAX Optio WG-1 GPS waterproof digital compact camera.
Since its market launch in March 2011, the Optio WG-1 GPS has been exceptionally well received by a broad range of photographers for its ability to couple dependable performance under demanding outdoor conditions including 10-meter waterproof and 1.5-meter shock resistance with unique GPS functions including the recording of position data and the storage of positioning log data during traveling.
The new Shiny Orange version was designed in response to strong demand by outdoor enthusiasts. It features a fine hairline finish of the brilliant-orange, aluminum-alloy front panel to give the camera a vibrant, glossy appearance. A gunmetal-gray rubber coating has also been applied to the edge of the camera body to further accentuate the brilliance of the sparkling orange color. The total design scheme has been carefully conceived to provide a perfect match with outdoor-oriented fashions and lifestyles.
