The photography exhibition is a part of The Month of Photography, Tokyo 2009 which is organised by The Photographic Society of Japan. It has selected 46 pieces of works from two photographers: Chris Yap and Chan Bin Kan, who are the most representative of SINGAPOREAN PHOTOGRAPHY. Chris Yap, an advertising photographer, is active in Singapore and whose theme is Fine Art. His preserved natures were exhibited in the last The Month of Photography, Tokyo, which brought a strong reaction. The content of this exhibition is showing the different faces forest’s when time is moving.

The first person of the Sports Photography: Chan Bin Kan, a documentary photographer. From the point of view of Aesthetic, he catches the flawless techniques show in the competitions by the selective athletes. The exhibition includes the Tokyo’s vista in Japan last year and the superlative beauty showed by athletes which photographed by the photographers during their journey.

[The Month of Photography ,Tokyo]
[The Month of Photography, Tokyo] is a photographic activity advocated by the The Photographic Society of Japan who is aiming at popularizing and developing the culture of photography.
The sponsor is “the Executive Committee of The Month of Tokyo Photography” (Corporation is the The Photographic Society of Japan and the Tokyo Photo Gallery). The cooperative parties are: Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tokyo Prefecture, and other photography-relative firms. The Month of Tokyo Photography activity began from 1996, holds every year at the same term. Main activity is about the subject of “The Photography Day” on June,1, is active during May to June. The center is Tokyo Prefecture Photographic Gallery, there are all kinds of photographic exhibition in each gallery and salon, which do not limit the relative activities between the professional and non-professional. As the special sponsor, RICOH will take part in The Month of Photography, Tokyo .
