[Question] Can the power be supplied to the camera by USB connection even if a battery is removed from the camera ?
No, the camera power will not turn on without the battery.
The battery must be set in the camera in order to turn on the camera. Charging from a USB port, or downloading images from the camera to a computer will not work without putting the battery in the camera.
