[Question] What is the [Electronic Shutter] in the SCENE mode ?
The [Electronic Shutter] scene mode takes a picture without using the mechanical shutter. This mode allows you to take a picture without worrying about the shutter release sound or vibrations.
Selectable shutter speed is between 1/8000 sec. and 1 sec.
[Electonic Shutter] location
Turn the mode dial to the [SCENE], and press the [MENU/OK] button. Choose the [ES] below in the scene mode selection screen.
[Note]
- • Take precautions for dealing with camera shake with this mode. Camera shake may occur due to differences in exposure times between the top and bottom halves of the screen.
- • This mode will not be suitable for taking pictures of a moving subject.
- • You cannot set the ISO to [200] when using the [Electronic Shutter] scene mode.
