[Question] Details on the LC-2, self retaining lens cap.
It is the self retaining lens cap by extending the lens. It is specially designed for the camera unit, RICOH LEN S10 24-72mm F2.5-4.4 VC, or RICOH LENS P10 28-300mm F3.5-5.6 VC.
(This lens cap cannot be used with the GR LENS A12 50mm F2.5 MACRO camera unit.)

Mounting instructions and cautions are as follows.
Attaching the LC-2
| 1 | Attach the camera unit, RICOH LENS S10/P10 to the GXR body. [How to attach the camera unit to the GXR body. ] |
| 2 | Remove the ring cap from the camera body.
By turning the ring cap counterclockwise (1), remove the ring cap (2).
[For RICOH LENS S10] By turning the ring cap counterclockwise (1) while pressing the ring cap release button, remove the ring cap (2). [Note]Keep the removed ring cap with care. For use, attach the ring cap to the camera body by aligning the markings, and then turn the ring cap clockwise to return it to its original position. The red mark in the figure above is a guide. |

Attaching the LC-2.
With the marking on the camera, fit the lens cap into the camera body (1). Then turn the lens cap clockwise until it clicks (2). The red mark in the figure below is a guide.  |
| 4 | When turning the camera power on/off, the lens cap will automatically open/close by extending/retracting the lens. |
Caution on the usage of LC-2
- •Turn off the camera power for attachment or detachment.
- •Do not apply force more than necessary for attachment or detachment, or the camera may be damaged.
- •Do not connect with any cameras other than specified.
Handling Notes
- •Do not apply excessive force to this product.
- •Do not insert anything inside the flaps of this product.
- •The flaps of the lens cap may interfere with macro shooting. Remove the lens cap in these situations.
- •Do not open or press on the flaps of this product with excessive force.
- •The camera case (SC-55S; optional) can be used to store the GXR body with RICOH LENS S10 24-72mm with the LC-2 attached.
- •The camera case (SC-55L; optional) can be used to store the GXR body with RICOH LENS P10 28-300mm with the LC-2 attached.
- •Avoid high temperature or humidity and store the product in a dry place.
