  • *b1)This is the option to set the upper limit of the ISO sensitivity. Comparing with the AUTO, the shutter speed will become faster in a dark scene, which will reduce camera shake or blurring of the subject.
    With the GXR, AUTO-HI is selectable from; ISO 200, ISO 400, ISO 800, ISO 1600, or ISO 3200.
    With the GX200, AUTO-HI is selectable from; ISO 200, ISO 400, ISO 800, or ISO 1600.
  • *b2)If you press the shutter release half way, the AF feature will work, but if you fully press the shutter release button at once, the camera will take a picture with a configured distance without AF work.
  • *b3)The camera will do preliminaries on focus, corresponding with changes on the subject, even if you will not yet press the shutter release half way.
  • *b4) The Noise reduction ISO options will not be available with the Noise reduction Off.
  • *b5) For scenes with both sunlight and shadow, the camera automatically selects the optimal white balance to fit the light source of each segregated area of the image. For the details on the [Multi-pattern Auto white balance], see the following FAQ.

[PC connections]

When you connect a camera to a computer:
    • Only the USB connection is available. Serial connection is not supported.
    • It is required a computer that is pre-installed with a supported OS version in the following chart, and that has a USB port as standard.
    • The available software for picture downloading is for Windows only. For Macintosh, no software from Ricoh is required to download pictures. See the FAQ here for the details.
