[Question] What is the difference between GXR (A12 50mm / S10 24-72mm) and GR DIGITAL III ?

• *a1)F22 displays in the Auto shooting mode : Being used by a combination of aperture and ND filter.
• *a2)F8.0 - F11 displays in the Auto shooting mode : Being used by a combination of aperture and ND filter.

• *b1)This is the option to set the upper limit of the ISO sensitivity. Comparing with the AUTO, the shutter speed will become faster in a dark scene, which will reduce camera shake or blurring of the subject.
  With the GXR, AUTO-HI is selectable from; ISO 200, ISO 400, ISO 800, ISO 1600, or ISO 3200.
  With the GR DIGITAL III, AUTO-HI is selectable from; ISO 200, ISO 400, ISO 800, or ISO 1600.
  
• *b2)If you press the shutter release half way, the AF feature will work, but if you fully press the shutter release button at once, the camera will take a picture with a configured distance without AF work. For the details on the [Full Press Snap], see the following FAQ.

• *b3)The camera will do preliminaries on focus, corresponding with changes on the subject, even if you will not yet press the shutter release half way. For the details on the [Pre-AF], see the following FAQ.

• *b5)For scenes with both sunlight and shadow, the camera automatically selects the optimal white balance to fit the light source of each segregated area of the image. For the details on the [Multi-pattern Auto white balance], see the following FAQ.

• *b6)Normal continous (While pressing the shutter release button, the camera takes multiple pictures continuously).
• *b7)With Noise reduction setting OFF.
  With the RICOH LENS S10 24-72mm, max. 4 pictures if the ISO sensitivity value is 800 or over.

[Button / Key assignments and display settings]

• *c1)You can save 6 My settings into the [My Settings Box] in advance, and you can recall a My setting from the box to register it to MY1, MY2, or MY3. See the following FAQ for the details.

• *c2)Pressing the DIRECT button in the shooting mode shows the current shooting setting. This DIRECT mode allows you to choose an item and to change the current shooting settings directly.

[How do I assign a function to the Fn buttons ?]

• *c4)This is the option to display shooting icons in a frame surrounding the view through the lens.
• *c5)This is the option to display shooting information in the picture display when the picture display is off.

[Playback features of camera]

• *d1)Pressing the ADJ. lever allows zooming to the configured magnification.
• *d2)The camera memorizes the last played back image. At the next playback, the last played back image will be displayed.
• *d3)This will allow to display an assigned image quickly

[Other features of camera]

• *e1)The data is just a guide and reference only. Carrying a spare battery will be recommended for a long time usage. (Number of pictures measured using the CIPA standard. The actual number of available shots may vary depending on the shooting and usage conditions.)
• *e2)The whole dimensions of the camera body attached with the camera unit (including the lens unit).
• *e3)The whole weight of the camera body attached with the camera unit (without battery, a memory card, a strap, a terminal cap, or a lens cap).

[PC connections]

• •Only the USB connection is available. Serial connection is not supported.
• •It is required a computer that is pre-installed with a supported OS version in the following chart, and that has a USB port as standard.
