- *b1)It will reduce noise at high ISO sensitivity. By Pixel output interpolation algorithm, it will be able to provide dynamic range expansion (1 EV at maximum; in comparison with the previous image processing)
- *b2)No external AF.
- *b3)Multi-Targer AF: Camera automatically determines multiple focus positions and takes 7 consecutive pictures at one shutter release. The 7 pictures are recorded as a single MP file.
- *b4)Pre-AF: The camera will do preliminaries on focus, corresponding with changes on the subject, even if you will not yet press the shutter release half way.
- *b5)Continuous AF: The camera measures the distance from the center AF area. After pressing the shutter release half way, the camera will do focusing corresponding with the changes on the subject.
- *b6)Discreet Mode: Regardless of the sound setting, the camera will take a picture with disabled Flash and operating sound.
- *b7)High Contrast B&W Mode: This mode takes a picture with higher contrast B&W than those in normal B&W mode. It will produces grainy images similar to those taken with highly sensitive film or high grain film developing.
- *b8)Miniaturize: This mode captures an image that appear to be a picture of dioramas.
- *b9)Pet mode: The flash, AF auxiliary light, and operation sounds are turned off in this mode, to avoid frightening a pet. If a face(s) of pets is detected, the camera will be going to focus on the face(s).
- *b10)The camera will automatically select an optimal scene mode from Portrait, Sports, Night. Port., Landscape, Nightscape, and Macro mode.
- *b11)Camera automatically selects the optimal white balance according to the conditions of sun and shade or the flash illumination range.
- *b12)fps stands for frames per second. It is 30 frames with the CX3. With the CX2/CX1, you have options of 30 fps or 15 fps in each size.
- *b13)Camera takes multiple pictures continuously while you are pressing a shutter release button. The maximum number of images that can be shot in continuous mode is 999.
[About the Continuous mode (Normal Continuous, M-Cont Plus, and Speed Cont).]
- *b14)It will perform noise reduction when taking a still image.
