[Question] How do I view MP files on a computer? (Windows)

Install Irodio Photo & Video Studio from the supplied CD-ROM.

There is no need to install Irodio Photo & Video Studio again if you have already installed it from the supplied CD-ROM at the same time that you installed DC-Software.

The procedures for viewing MP files on a computer are shown below.

These procedures are for a computer where MP files have already been downloaded.

  1. 1Start Irodio Photo & Video Studio.
    If there is a shortcut icon for the application on the computer's Desktop, double-click the icon to start the application.

    If the above shortcut icon is not on the computer's Desktop, start the application by selecting [Start] - [All Programs] - [Irodio] - [Irodio Photo & Video Studio] and clicking on [Irodio Photo & Video Studio].

  2. 2 From the folder tree in the left side of the screen, select the folder (*1 in the screenshot below) where downloaded files have been saved.

    Thumbnails of the images in the selected folder are displayed in the right side of the screen.

  3. 3 Select an MP file from the file list in the right side of the screen.

    • An icon (*2 in the screenshot in Step 2) is displayed in the top right-hand corner of MP files.

    • A preview of the MP file is displayed in the preview window at the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.
  4. 4 Change the frame inside the MP file in the preview window.

    • You can change the frame in the MP file by adjusting the slider (*3 in the screenshot below) at the bottom of the preview window, or by changing the frame number (*4 in the same screenshot).

  5. 5 Double-click the selected MP file (*2 in Step 2) from the thumbnails displayed in the file list.

Note

To save the frame displayed in Step 5 as a JPEG file, click [File] and select [Save As].
Check the file name and file type in the [Save As] dialog box that appears, and save the file.
