[Question] How do I assign a function to the Fn (Function) button?

The procedures for assigning a function to the Fn (Function) button are shown below.

1 Press the [MENU] button. The shooting menu or the playback menu appears.

2 Press the [ADJ./OK] button Left, and then press it down. The setup menu appears.
Press the [ADJ./OK] button to the left, and then press it down. The setup menu appears.
If the camera is in scene mode or continuous mode、press the [ADJ./OK] button Left to select the [MODE] tab.
If the camera is in scene mode or continuous mode、press the [ADJ./OK] button to the left to select the [MODE] tab.
After that, press the [ADJ./OK] button down twice to display the setup menu.

3 Press the [ADJ./OK] button Right, press it up and down to select [Set Fn Button], and then press Right.

4 Press the [ADJ./OK] button Up Down to select the setting, and then press the [ADJ./OK] button.

  • *The functions not marked with a circle (O) can also be assigned to the Fn button, but they will not operate if the button is pressed in scene mode or movie mode.
