The Lab Experiment #05: Using Scene Auto mode and Pets mode functions

The Report to the Director

In these experiments, I learned that Scene Auto mode automatically switches to the best shooting settings so it is possible to quickly and easily shoot each type of scene. This function is especially convenient for someone who is not used to using the camera.

The standard scene modes handle even more types of subjects than Scene Auto mode. This includes the great new Pets mode which can detect various different types of cat faces. This considerate function also automatically turns off the flash, AF auxiliary light, and sounds that startle pets and that we photographers often forget to turn off ourselves.

I hope you will make good use of Scene Auto mode and Pets mode to photograph even more different kinds of subjects.

Until next time!
